Greetings,
Sometimes, what we need is hope! Despair can be so overwhelming, that we might even feel that the sun will never shine again. When you have suffered a great loss, the enemy loves to whisper that more disappointments are sure to come. He wants you to think that your world is falling apart, but our God loves to fill us with “good hope.”
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (NKJV) – “Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, [17] comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.”
God gives us “good hope.” It’s good hope because He always keeps His promises. The sun will shine again, no matter how dark it may seem at this moment. You are going to make it! Your Heavenly Father loves you and will never forsake you.
Father God, I thank You for giving us hope in the middle of despair, for giving us peace in the middle of a storm, and for the light of Your Word in the darkness of night. Thank You for GOOD HOPE!
Today, I’m worshiping with the Gettys and “Christ Our Hope in Life and Death.”

Greetings,
Listen to the words of this Psalm:
Psalm 86:2 (NKJV) – “Preserve my life, for I am holy; You are my God; Save Your servant who trusts in You!”
“Preserve my life … for I am holy?” What on earth is David, the writer of this psalm, saying? How audacious!
This is the same David who committed adultery with Bathsheba and then ordered the death of Uriah, her husband, who just happened to be one of David’s friends! And of all he could say about himself, he is telling God that he is holy! How could he dare make such a claim to God, especially since the word translated ‘holy’ means: a saint? It is because David understood God’s merciful nature:
Psalm 86:5 (NKJV) – “For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.”
Yes, David sinned grievously, but he turned to God in repentance, rather than turning away from Him in rebellion. God will also forgive us when we do wrong, if we will repent and forsake our sinful ways.
Father, today I ask You to forgive my many failures, whether it was a sin of commission or one of omission. I ask for Your mercy and thank You for hearing and cleansing me. Make me holy as You are holy. I’m glad that I am washed in the blood of Jesus.
Today, I’m worshiping with Sean Carter and “Redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb.”

Greetings,
Have you recently thanked God for His Word? If it were not for the Bible, we would be lost in a dark world without any light to illuminate the way. We would be like a ship at sea in the middle of a terrible storm, without an anchor to hold us fast. God’s Word provides a tremendous source of direction and hope. We must never allow anyone to tell us that the Bible is just a book of fables and stories written by men.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV) – “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, [17] that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
All scripture is given by inspiration of God. …ALL! The word ‘inspiration’ means: “God-breathed.” Just as God breathed life into the clay He had formed Adam, we can speak the life-giving Word of God into those things over which the enemy has spoken death. Speak life into your marriage, your family, your health, and your finances!
Father, I thank You for Your Living Word! I’m glad for the power that it has to change my heart. It is my light in a dark world and hope during uncertain times. It guides me and I am so grateful!
Today, I’m worshiping with Hillsong and “Your Word.”

Greetings,
Don’t you miss attending the weekly services when you can’t be at church? Something really wonderful happens when we gather to worship God corporately. Notice what King David said about being in the House of God:
Psalm 84:1-2 (NKJV) – “How lovely is Your tabernacle, O LORD of hosts! [2] My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the LORD; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.”
A great devotional life consists of two things: (1) developing a personal relationship with God in your daily prayer time, and (2) time spent in corporate worship with other believers.
Sometimes it is very difficult for Christians to assemble together: weather, sickness and other things can interfere. Hopefully those times cause us all to realize how important it is that we worship regularly with fellow believers. We should be more enthusiastic and excited about worshiping together than we are about just about anything else that we do. With all that we have been through, the value of corporate worship should be more clear to us now than ever.
Father, thank You for being with me, each and every day! Like David, I long for those times when I can come into Your House. I love to join with other believers as we worship You. You deserve my worship and praise!
