Stay inspired in the word.

Greetings,

When God purposes to do something, no power on earth or in hell can stop Him.

Isaiah 14:27 (NKJV) – “For the LORD of hosts has purposed, And who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, And who will turn it back?”

This is why prayer is so powerful. Praying the Word of God is the most powerful form of prayer that exists. It’s praying His unchangeable, divine will that has forever been settled in heaven! You are partnering with God when you pray His Word over your life, your family, or your nation.

Daniel studied the Word of God enough to know its promises. He was able to pray these promises until they were fulfilled. When he prayed for Israel to return to their homeland after 70 years of captivity, he knew that God had already promised that it would happen after 70 years. He was actually praying for the fulfillment of God’s promises. We should know God’s promises too, and then pray them into being.

Father, I join with You in declaring that my family belongs to You! We are blessed and healthy because of the promises You have given us. I declare that You reign in glory, and that Your Kingdom is coming to this world. You are God!

Incredible blessings await those who attend the House of God! In my personal devotions, I’ve been deeply impacted by the marvelous promises in the Book of Psalms for those who regularly worship in His House.  

Of course, when the psalms were written, there were no air-conditioned automobiles, super highways, or comfortable buildings in which to worship. They would have been concerned about thieves and other dangers as they journeyed to the House of God. But because they were faithful to attend, their blessings were multiplied a thousand-fold.

Psalm 84:10 (NKJV) – “For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.”

It may sometimes be difficult for us to attend the House of God, but for different reasons than early believers experienced. However whenever it’s possible, we should not miss being in God’s House. A blessing of multiplication is promised to those who faithfully come to worship.

Dear Lord, thank You for the splendors of Your House. Being in Your Presence means everything to me. Thank You for allowing me to draw near to You in worship. I love being in Your House.

Greetings,

God gave Joseph dreams that would declare and reveal his destiny. But until that time came, he was tested.

Psalm 105:19 (NKJV) – “Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the LORD tested him.”

If it seems there is a huge discrepancy between where you are now and the dreams God has given you for your life, it doesn’t mean you didn’t clearly hear His voice. Nor does it mean that you have displeased Him. What you go through as you wait for God to fulfill those promises and dreams, is meant to prepare you!

We must be tested for the same reasons a pressure vessel in a refinery must be tested. They prove you can withstand the pressures that will come against you when your dreams become a reality.

Father, help me to stand by faith with a confidence in You that is unshakeable and strong. I want to be an instrument that brings glory and honor to You!

Do you remember when God found you? Some of us were in desperate situations and in need of immediate rescue. We were lost and perishing. Look at what God did:

Ezekiel 16:5-6 (NKJV) – “No eye pitied you, to do any of these things for you, to have compassion on you; but you were thrown out into the open field, when you yourself were loathed on the day you were born. [6] "And when I passed by you and saw you struggling in your own blood, I said to you in your blood, 'Live!' Yes, I said to you in your blood, 'Live!'

After the world had used and discarded us, God passed by. When we were struggling to survive, He said, “LIVE!” Ever since that day, we have been alive in Him. Oh, bless His Name! Today He is speaking life over your relationships, over your finances, over your ministry and health.

Thank You, Lord, for speaking life over me when I was dead in trespasses and sins. You set me free from what had me bound. Thank You for saying to me, “LIVE!” You are breathing divine life into all that I do. My world has been changed because You are so good. Thank You for giving me life and that more abundantly!
