Stay inspired in the word.

Greetings,

If you allow your attention and thoughts to be drawn away from God, and turned to those who do not know Him, you can be deceived.

Psalm 73:2-3 (NKJV) – “But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled; My steps had nearly slipped. [3] For I was envious of the boastful, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.”

The writer of this psalm had become so envious of the prosperity of the wicked that he almost fell. Thankfully, he kept holding on to God. But as he continued to observe, he realized there was no reason to be jealous of those who didn’t know our Heavenly Father. While attending church one day, God showed him the destiny of the ungodly:

Psalm 73:17 (NKJV) – “Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end.”

Father, help me to always keep my eyes fixed on You and never be distracted or envious of those who are boastful and proud. Thank You for keeping me from falling into that trap of the enemy!

Do you know what God’s purpose is for your life? What about your family members? That vision should be clear and well defined for you and your family.  

Habakkuk 2:2 (NKJV) - “Then the LORD answered me and said: "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.”

You matter so much to God, He has designed an incredible plan for your life. He created you for a reason. How do I know this? Because He never creates anything that doesn’t have value. Seek Him until you know why you were placed on this earth—and then get busy doing it! Teach your family to do the same thing. That’s the best way to find true fulfillment, inner joy, and peace.

Father God, I thank You that I was created and wonderfully made, just a little lower than the angels. Since You sent me into this world for a divine purpose, help me to discover what that assignment is for my life. I want to be used by You!

Greetings,

As a small child, were you ever afraid of the dark? Children become fearful when they don’t know what might be in the darkness. But when you stay close to God, you realize that you are safe because light and darkness are all the same to Him.

Daniel 2:22 (NKJV) – “He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.”

He knows everything about the darkness. If you are walking through a dark season of pain, loss, or uncertainty, God knows what you’re facing and says, “My child, fear not; for I am with you!”

Lord, I thank You because there has never been a moment when You didn’t care about me, even when there was something out there that I could not see. You have promised to reveal the deep and secret things the enemy uses to make me fearful and afraid that hide in darkness. Oh, how I praise You for Your great love!

Greetings,

You would think that by now, people would realize how these solemn words of David apply more than ever. Our nation is not exempt from this word of warning either.

Psalm 9:17 (NKJV) – “The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God.”

The problems of our world cannot be fixed unless God becomes a major part of the solution. To leave Him out of the picture only ensures that the depravity of man will continue to grow worse.  

Because of man’s greed, hatred, jealousy, insecurity, and lust for power, every utopia that humanity has ever tried to create only increased our pain and suffering.  

Our Father, just as this psalm of David declared 2,900 years ago, we need You!  Our world is in real trouble. We have tried to become the master of our own fate without surrendering our lives to the only One who has the power to fix what sin has broken. Help us, I pray! Come to our aid. We pray for America and the nations of the world.
