Greetings,

God can turn your worst enemy into your biggest promoter! He can make that boss, neighbor or co-worker who has constantly opposed you begin to speak well of you and actively seek your advancement. How can you help make such an incredible thing happen? By living according to this principle in God’s Word:

Proverbs 16:7 (NKJV) – “When a man's ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.”

That means you will not retaliate when someone treats you wrong. You will refuse to respond with hateful or unkind words or do anything that will cause them harm.

Father, teach me to live by the principles in Your Word each day of my life. Give me the grace to walk in Your ways as I trust You to fulfill every promise You have given to me.

Today, I’m worshiping with Upper Room and “Shout to the Lord.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!

Greetings,

God can break every chain that binds you. All you have to do is cry out to Him and surrender your life to His control.

Psalm 107:13-15 (NKJV) – “Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses. [14] He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, And broke their chains in pieces. [15] Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!”

Those of us who have experienced His deliverance should continually thank Him for His goodness and wondrous works for the children of men. If He has set you free from something, stop and thank Him right now! Or if you need help, cry out to Him, and He will save you from your trouble and distress.

If you need deliverance, pray these words with me: “Dear God, set me free by the blood of Jesus Christ, the Holy Lamb of God, who became the sacrifice for my sin. I surrender to You my heart, my mind, my thoughts, my desires, and my future! Thank You for hearing my prayer and breaking my chains. I praise You for freedom!”

Today, I’m worshiping with Kurt Carr and “I’ve Seen Him Do It.”

Greetings,

How about giving life your best shot, right now! Don’t leave anything to chance. Once your life has ended, there will be no “do-overs!” That is the wise admonition of this scripture:

Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NKJV) – “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.”

What an awesome life principle! Those who remain focused on what is right and good have proven time and again the importance of keeping your eye on the ball and refusing to be distracted. They have learned to keep the main thing the main thing—whether it’s their job, family, career, or ministry.

The same is true in our service to God. When we take our eyes off of Him or move Him to second place, we don’t do very well. So, whatever you decide to do, do it with your whole heart!

God, help us to keep our eyes fixed on the prize of eternal life and never to be distracted by the cheap and insignificant things this world has to offer. We love You!

Greetings,

Believers who do not understand the merciful nature of our God are troubled by this scripture:

Psalm 66:18-20 (NKJV) – “If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear. [19] But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer. [20] Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me!”

What does it mean to ‘regard iniquity’ in my heart? Does it mean that if I ever do anything wrong, that God will no longer answer my prayers? No! Everyone makes mistakes. But if we choose to sin instead of living righteously, or desire the world rather than God, our prayers will no longer be effective.

Father, I thank You for Christ’s sacrifice at Calvary and that He died in my place. Because of His blood, I can overcome sin and be in right standing with You!

Today, I’m worshiping with Richard Smallwood and “Calvary.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
