Greetings,

Today, let’s make a conscious effort to reject all feelings of anxiety and uncertainty. God’s future for you is victorious, even if success is not visible at this moment. His plan for your life is secure, but the enemy wants you to live in fear. He knows this will lead to anxiety and then to depression.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV) – “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Proverbs 12:25 (NKJV) – “Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.”

God’s thoughts toward you are for peace—NOT evil. His plan is to give you a future and hope.

Father God, thank You for the good Word that You have spoken over my life. I reject all negative thoughts. Instead of worry, I will rejoice because You have already planned my tomorrows! I will not be anxious or entertain feelings of stress and fear. Instead of depression, I’m claiming joy unspeakable that is filled with Your glory. Your joy is my strength!

Today, I’m worshiping with Jeremy Riddle and “What Joy is Found.”

Greetings,

Do you know of a believer who was once close to the Lord, but then turned and walked away from Him? What do you suppose was responsible for destroying their relationship with God? We could speculate, but notice what Paul wrote about believers he knew who had fallen from grace.

1 Timothy 1:19 (NKJV) – “having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck.”

They suffered shipwreck because they failed to maintain their faith and violated their consciences. It is important for us to grow our faith and keep our consciences clear. We begin based upon decisions that we make in our hearts.

Faith is choosing to place your trust in God. The enemy wants you to listen to “reason” and live in fear, rather than trusting God to keep you and your family safe. Reason is limited to what we can see and understand. Faith goes further and allows God to be all He can be for us.

To keep a good conscience, we must listen when the voice of the Holy Spirit tells us to leave some things alone. The enemy will insist that what we’re about to do is alright, even though the Holy Spirit is saying the very opposite. He will declare that since everyone else is doing the same thing, we can too. Listening to him is a sure way to suffer shipwreck! Strong faith and a good conscience will keep us from crashing onto these deadly reefs.

Father, give me the grace to never compromise my faith or my conscience. But should that ever happen, please help me to rebuild those two vital areas of my life. Help me to live with both integrity and character.

Today, I’m worshiping with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and “So You Would Know.”

Greetings,

Be careful not to become your own worst enemy by speaking curses over your own life.

Proverbs 18:7 (NKJV) – “A fool's mouth is his destruction, And his lips are the snare of his soul.”

The words that we speak can destroy our lives and future. I’m not talking about what the enemy tries to do to us, but rather what we do to ourselves when we speak death, loss, failure, and bondage instead of life, faith, promise and destiny. Your life will never improve if you continually talk about how terrible your problems are and how tough life has become. Learn to speak faith instead. Talk about the goodness of God and His amazing promises.

Father God, thank You for the power You’ve given us to form and shape our future with the words we speak. Help us to use this power in a way that is productive, rather than in a manner that kills, steals and destroys.

Today, I’m worshiping with Charity Gayle and Joshua Sherman and “Living in the Overflow.”

Greetings,

You can put your confidence in every Word that God has spoken. What we sometimes need is not always the comfort of family members or the encouragement of friends. Sometimes what we need to hear most is a Word from God. It lifts us up because we know that He ALWAYS fulfills and keeps every Word that He has spoken.

Psalm 130:5 (NKJV) – “I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His Word I do hope.”

His Word gives us hope in the time of trouble and assures us that everything is going to be all right. He also uses His Word to let us know the outcome of what we’re facing—before it happens. Isn’t His Word AMAZING!

Father, I thank You for the anointed Word that I can read in my Bible and the comforting Word that You speak to my heart when I pray. With great confidence I trust in whatever You say, knowing that it will never disappoint me. I love You, Lord!

Today, I’m worshiping with Natalie Grant and “Isn’t He.”
