Greetings,

We read in Psalm 145:9 (NKJV), “The LORD is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.”

How do we know that God is always good to us? During times of blessing, we often take His goodness for granted. But in times of great challenge and difficulty, His goodness can be more clearly witnessed and appreciated.

What do I mean by that? When the seas part, or we are being sustained in a wilderness, it’s easy then to see God’s hand at work, right?

But we should also know that if God’s Grace has carried us this far, it is also proof of His goodness. We didn’t get to where we are by ourselves and He didn’t have to help us.

God guides and protects us each day. That’s truly amazing! He really does deserve our highest praise!

May God smile upon you and continually extend His grace and favor to you. May He keep you by His great power and grant you His everlasting mercies!

Lord, thank You for bringing me to where I am today. I’ve come this far by Your strength and goodness. I’m not yet where I someday hope to be, but I’m not where I started either. I can look back over my life and see the many times I wouldn’t have made it without You. Thank You for all You’ve done for me.

Today, I’m worshiping with Dante Bowe & Kirby Kaple and “Lift You High.”

Greetings,

God’s Word speaks to each of us individually. I love the way that He makes certain passages come alive in our hearts, depending upon what we are facing at that moment. His Word is always relevant. That’s because He knows everything there is to know about us and exactly where we are in our individual journeys. Notice this verse in the Book of Psalms:

Psalm 139:16 (NKJV): “Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.”

God knows your name. He knows everything that your future holds. We might not see it but He has incredible plans for our lives. Our Heavenly Father will speak to each of us from His Word if we ask Him to. When we open the Bible in prayer, He will guide and direct our steps.

Father, thank You for causing Your Word to illuminate my path. Please speak to me from Your Word today. Direct my steps and lead me in the path of Your divine will. Guide me with the plans that You have for my life.

Today, I’m worshiping with Riddle and Gretzinger and “You Have Won Me.”

Greetings,

Sometimes we actually think that God’s will for our lives won’t be as good as the things that we have planned and hoped for ourselves. But think about it: could what we want ever be better than what our Heavenly Father desires for us?

We read in Romans 8:28 (NKJV) – “And we know that ALL things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Did you catch that? ALL things—and that literally means ALL! The Greek Word for ‘all’ is pas. Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance tells us that it means: “each, every, any, all, the whole, everyone, all things, everything”—with no exceptions. That pretty much covers everything doesn’t it, even what we may be facing?

Be at peace, beloved. Though we do not always understand how good can come from some of the things we are going through, remember that it’s because we don’t see as far as God does. We can trust Him to make all things work for our good!

Father, thank You for loving me so much, for caring for me and wanting the best for my life. Not only that, but thank You for turning things around that could have harmed me, and protecting me from decisions I made that were unwise. You’ve turned so many problems into blessings. I can’t help but love You!

Today, I’m worshiping with the Binions and “All Things.”

Greetings,

You were created for a divine purpose. Our lives have meaning. Humanity was created to worship the Living God and to bless others. By worshiping the Lord, we exalt and lift Him higher than the other things in our lives. Isaiah saw God as high and lifted up. Since He dwells in the midst of our praises, when we enthrone God in our worship, it means we give Him a place to dwell, or reside.

When you stop and think about it, worry does the very opposite. Instead of lifting God up, worry elevates the things we’re concerned about to a level that’s higher than Him. Worry causes us to doubt God’s ability and question whether His goodness is adequate. Instead of enthroning God, it gives our problems a place to dwell. That’s should be the last thing we want.

Father God, help me to “dethrone” worry and stress in my life. Rather than elevating my problems and allowing them to be lifted high, I want to exalt You! You alone are deserving of my praise. I want to lift You up in my life today.

Today, I’m worshiping with Anthony Brown and “Created to Worship, Not to Worry.”
