Greetings,

Have you ever feel that God has hidden His face from you, and no matter how desperately you seek for Him, He can’t be found? The psalmist knew all about those kinds of doubts and feelings:

Psalm 13:1 (NKJV) – “How long, O LORD? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?”

Sometimes, in an extended season of need, it can seem that God has forgotten us. I can assure you that will never happen! Could you ever forget one of your own children? Neither can He!

Even when you walk through dark places and it seems that you’re all alone, God is there. You just can’t see Him. How do I know this? Because He said He would NEVER leave us or forsake us, and He keeps His promises.

Thank You, my faithful God, for Your “never-failing” love. You are with me, even when it seems that I am all alone. Though I might not sense or see You, I know that You are beside me. Your Word tells me so. I praise You!

Today, I’m worshiping with Victor Thompson and “Dependable God.”

Greetings,

To find us, God Himself came looking for us! He didn’t send an angelic, beings such as seraphim or cherubim. Our Savior sought for us, and then He delivered us from our sins. The task of saving us was never delegated to an underling or an assistant:

Ezekiel 34:11-12 (NKJV) – “For thus says the Lord GOD: "Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. [12] As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day.”

What does that say about the goodness of our Lord and His love for us? It is mind-boggling to even consider that the Mighty God of heaven and earth would care so passionately for His people, that He would personally come to seek for us!

Thank You, God! What an incredible Savior You are! You left heaven to search until You found us That is amazing. I can never adequately express my gratitude for all You have done for me.

Today, I’m worshiping with William Murphy and “The Sacrifice of Praise.”

Greetings,

You are being protected in ways that you cannot see—or even imagine!

Psalm 34:7 (NKJV) – “The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.”

How does it mean that the angel of the Lord “encamps” around us? He stays very close and near to us at all times and surrounds us as an inpenetrable shield.

The secret to obtaining angelic protection is to “fear the Lord.” The word “fear” doesn’t mean that we should be terrified or be scared to death of God. Rather, it means that we should reverence Him and stand in great “awe” and wonder of His holiness.

God gives special attention to those who live in “awe” of the Lord. He will commission His angels to form a unbreachable wall of defense around them. Nothing harmful or dangerous can penetrate the protective shield with which He surrounds those who fear Him.

Father, I stand in awe of You! You are beautiful beyond description. I love and reverence You with all my heart! The wonders of who You are amaze me. I thank You for divine protection that is my great shield from all harm and danger. Your angels are watching over me, and I am grateful.

Greetings,

Why are we still alive when others have lost their lives to accidents or illness? Is it because we are so uniquely gifted and intelligent that the world couldn’t exist without us? Or, have we been so good, that we deserve to be here? Heavens no!

Lamentations 3:22-25 (NKJV) – “Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. [23] They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”

It’s because of God’s mercies that any of us are still living—not because we have earned it as a right. He is merciful beyond imagination and so very kind. When we actually merited judgment, God extended His great love to us. We can never thank Him enough for everything that He has already done.

Thank You, my Lord for loving me, for being so merciful and kind, and for forgiving me, even when I couldn’t do anything to pay for it. You are the greatest! I love You. Today, I lay claim to new mercy and compassion.

Today, I’m worshiping with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and “Love Lifted Me.”
