Greetings,

Today is the beginning of a brand new year of hope and promise. God wants to bless you because you serve Him, but the enemy wants to hinder God’s favor.

Did you know there is a hiding place from the attacks, slander, and plots of the enemy that are designed to discourage you? It’s a place where all satan’s strategies fail and none of his schemes can ever succeed. That hiding place is the Presence of God.

Psalm 31:19-20 (NKJV) - “Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men! [20] YOU SHALL HIDE THEM IN THE SECRET PLACE OF YOUR PRESENCE From the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion From the strife of tongues.”

Psalm 91, reaffirms for us that the place of safety is in the Presence of our Holy God. Satan cannot harm us when we’re living in the shadow of our Mighty Creator. While in His Presence, we are protected and sheltered from any enemy that seeks to harm us, just as Israel was.

On this first day of the New Year, draw me close to You, Lord. Keep me in Your Presence all year long. For there I am safe, blessed, and secure. I want to abide in Your Presence this year.

Today, I’m worshiping with Shane & Shane and “In the Secret.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!

Greetings,

What things in our lives have the greatest value?

Matthew 26:6-9 (NKJV) – “And when Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, [7] a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table. [8] But when His disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, "Why this waste? [9] For this fragrant oil might have been sold for much and given to the poor."

The disciples grumbled because they only considered the worth of Mary’s perfume, instead of the greater worth of the One she was anointing.

How many of us have failed to recognize the value of something when it is right before our eyes! Have we underestimated the worth of our spouse, our children, our health, or our friends? What about the freedom to worship and attend church, and so much more? What about the value of our relationship with God?

Lord, I thank You for the amazing gifts of family, health, friends and all the other things that You have given me. But I declare that You are worth more than anything else in my life by far. May I never fail to realize how precious You are. You are the fairest of ten thousand to my soul! You are the Lily of the valley and the Rose of Sharon. There isn’t another like You. My praise is Yours.

Today, I’m worshiping with Paul McClure and “To Sing His Praise Again.”

Greetings,

In the Book of Revelation, we are told that the church of Ephesus had lost their passion for Christ.

Revelation 2:4 (NKJV) – “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”

This can happen to anyone who fails to maintain their daily personal altar of devotion to God, and fail to keep it burning brightly. May our hearts burn so intensely for God, that the flame of our love will never flicker or be extinguished.

Lord, just as You instructed the Old Testament priests to never allow the fire on the altar to go out, I pray that the fire of my love for You will always burn brightly. Fan the flames today, Lord. Purify my heart. I want to want You more. I desire to love You with greater passion and fervency of heart, soul and mind.

Today I’m worshiping with Capitol City Music and “Sweetest Name.”

Greetings,

How reliable and secure is the Word of God upon which we have based all our faith and trust? Will its truths ever change or waver? Does the Bible ever need to be updated or replaced?

Psalm 119:89 (NKJV) – “Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven.”

In Hebrew, the word “settled” means: set; to stand; to be established. His Word is not only fixed, it will stand forever over everything else that exists!

We can trust every statement or promise that God has ever made. His Word is forever true, secure and unchangeable!

Almighty God of Heaven and Earth, I worship and thank You today for the life-giving truths in Your Word. The Word of God is my firm foundation that is safe and reliable—and it will stand forever! I cannot be shaken when I place my confidence in You. You will never let me down. I praise You!

Today, I’m worshiping with Eddie James and “Adonai.”
