Greetings,

Incredible blessings always await those who attend the House of God! Have you noticed the marvelous promises in the Book of Psalms that are given to those who worship corporately with God’s people on a regular basis.

Of course, when the psalms were written, worshipers didn’t have air-conditioned automobiles, super highways, or comfortable buildings with sound systems. They endured real hardships to get to the House of God. People were concerned about dangers they might encounter as they journeyed long distances. But because they were faithful to attend, their blessings were multiplied a thousand-fold. Listen to this.

Psalm 84:10 (NKJV) – “For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.”

In our day, it might sometimes be difficult to attend the God’s House, but it is for reasons other than those faced by the pilgrims who were going up to Jerusalem. Some folks cannot leave their homes due to illness. Others might struggle with transportation. God understands. But whenever it’s possible, we should not miss being in God’s House. A blessing of multiplication is promised to those who faithfully come to worship. One day is equal to a thousand anywhere else.

Lord, we are grateful that You have provided a place of meeting where believers can assemble to worship You. There is nothing like being in Your house and giving You the worship that You deserve. Each time we worship in Your Presence, I receive much more than I can possibly give. You are amazing!

Today, I’m worshiping with ORU and “Draw Me Close to You.”

Greetings,

God gave Joseph dreams that declared and revealed his destiny. But until his appointed time came, he was tested. His tests came in the form of things that were the exact opposite of what he was expecting to see take place, especially after having receiving dreams from God!

Psalm 105:19 (NKJV) – “Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the LORD tested him.”

If there seems to be a huge discrepancy between where you are now and the dreams God that has given you about your life, it doesn’t mean you didn’t clearly hear His voice. Nor does it mean that you have displeased Him. The promises and dreams from God were meant for you. You are being tested.

Tests actually help us become successful. We might not like them but we do benefit from experiencing them. They prepare us. Can you withstand the pressures that will come against you when your dreams become a reality?

Father, help me to stand with a confidence in You that is unshakeable and strong. Give me grace to live with abiding peace and calmness when the pressure is ratcheted up in my life. My strength comes from You. I want to be an instrument that brings You glory and honor!

Today, I’m worshiping with Clint Brown and “Breathe on Me.”

Greetings,

Do you remember when God found you and saved you? Some of us were in desperate situations and in need of immediate rescue. We were lost and perishing. Look at what God did:

Ezekiel 16:5-6 (NKJV) – “No eye pitied you, to do any of these things for you, to have compassion on you; but you were thrown out into the open field, when you yourself were loathed on the day you were born. [6] "And when I passed by you and saw you struggling in your own blood, I said to you in your blood, 'Live!' Yes, I said to you in your blood, 'Live!'

After the world had used and discarded us, God passed by. When we were struggling to survive, He said, “LIVE!” Ever since that day, we have been alive in Him. Oh, bless His Name!

Thank You, Lord, for speaking life into me when I was dead in trespasses and sins. You set me free from what had me bound. Thank You for saying to me, “LIVE!” You are breathing divine life into all that I do. My world has been changed because You are so good. Thank You for giving me life and that more abundantly!

Today, I’m worshiping with Leon Timbo and “Father, I Belong to You.”

Greetings,

When Adam and Eve sinned, they hid themselves from the Lord. Mankind has been doing the same thing ever since. We try to hide our weaknesses and failures from one another, and from God.

Every believer’s goal should be to do just the opposite. Our Heavenly Father wants us to be open and transparent with Him. It is to our own detriment when we try to hide our wrongs. After all, God sees it all anyway—and still loves us!

Proverbs 28:13 (NKJV) – “He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.”

When we confess and forsake our sins and imperfections, God covers us with His mercy and grace. But if we try to hide our sins, we can’t prosper.

Father, I come to You openly admitting my imperfections and failures. Forgive me where I have sinned. Keep me covered by the precious blood of the Lamb. Help me to become more like You. Thank You for loving me the way You do, with a love that is accepting and eternal.

Today, I’m worshiping with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and “That’s Why, God.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
