Greetings,
It’s so unfortunate that most of us have been taught to do our secular business first—and then God’s work later … if we can find the time.
Luke 2:49 (NKJV) – “And He said to them, "Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?"
If Jesus put His Father’s business first, so should we. That was His calling and assignment. Our Lord understands our needs and the busyness of life. For many years, He too worked a job. Still, He fulfilled His ministry.
That’s how we should also look at life. We should live to fulfill our assignment, not just to survive from one day to the next. To discover your special assignment, you may have to change your thinking about why you even exist. Ask God what special calling He for you. As with Jesus, there is a reason why you were born!
Spoiler alert: your employment isn’t your ultimate calling. It’s only a way to support whatever that calling might be. Your assignment is to do the Father’s business. Committing to it, and then placing God first, will bring His favor and blessings even upon your job.
Father, since you have a purpose and a plan for my life, help me discover what it is. I want to complete my assignment in this life. Bless my employment, for it is meant to provide the funds that I’ll need to fulfill my destiny, do your work and bring You glory!

Greetings,
Just how important is it that we read the Word of God each day of our lives? Jesus prayed and asked this request for His followers.
John 17:17 (NKJV) – “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.”
We are sanctified by the truth that is the Word of God. Without His Word, our lives quickly become bogged down in the mire of this world and the contamination of sin. Do you ever feel stuck? The Truth will set you free.
That is why the psalmist declared that he had hidden the Word of God in his heart that he might not sin against God.
Remember that the word “sin” is an archery term that means to miss the target. Our target is the destiny that God created especially for each one of us. By daily studying His Word, we can stay on track to fulfill our God-ordained purpose.
Father, I thank You for the Bible. I need Your Word to guide and sanctify me every day. Help me always treasure Your Word and study it continually. Let Your Word direct my path today. Keep me in Your will and from going where You would not want my heart to be. Use the truths of Scripture to help make me more like You.

Greetings,
God sees everything that is happening in our world.
Psalm 102:19-20 (NKJV) – “For He looked down from the height of His sanctuary; From heaven the LORD viewed the earth, [20] To hear the groaning of the prisoner, To release those appointed to death…”
You may think God isn’t watching the many events that are occurring in our world; but He definitely is! From His throne in heaven, He takes notice of every injustice and wrong being done to others. This is why we should be careful how we treat people. They have also been made in His image and likeness. Their Father looks down from above.
Dear Lord, help me to always remember that You are a righteous Judge and that You expect me to treat my fellow human beings as I would want them to treat me. My prayer is that people will always see Your love and kindness in me. I want to be a reflection of who You are.

Greetings,
After closely examining Christ, notice Pilate’s announcement to the bloodthirsty mob, incited to blood fervor by the priests.
John 18:38 (NKJV) – “Pilate said to Him, "What is truth?" And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, "I FIND NO FAULT IN HIM AT ALL.”
John 19:4 (NKJV) – “Pilate then went out again, and said to them, "Behold, I am bringing Him out to you, that you may know that I FIND NO FAULT IN HIM."
John 19:6 (NKJV) – “Therefore, when the chief priests and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, "Crucify Him, crucify Him!" Pilate said to them, "You take Him and crucify Him, for I FIND NO FAULT IN HIM."
Three times the Roman judge acknowledged that Jesus was innocent. After serving the Lord for these many years, I must also agree. I find no fault in Him either. He is perfect in all His ways—and He is the best thing that has ever happened to me! I have discovered my own flaws and how His grace can help me deal with them, but never have I found a fault in Him!
Thank You for being so good, so perfect, so kind, and so true. You really are the joy of my life. I love You with all of my heart! You are perfect in all You do. Thank You for loving someone imperfect like me!
