Greetings,
Have you recently thanked God for His Word? If it were not for the Bible, we would be lost in a dark world without any light to illuminate our way. We would be like a ship at sea in the middle of a terrible storm, without an anchor to hold us fast.
God’s Word provides a tremendous source of direction and hope. It is our map for navigating life. We must never allow anyone to tell us that the Bible is just a book of fables and mere stories written by men.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV) – “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, [17] that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
All scripture is given by inspiration of God.…ALL! The word ‘inspiration’ means: “God-breathed.” Just as God breathed life into the inert clay from which He formed Adam, we can speak the life-giving Word of God into things over which the enemy has spoken death. Speak life into your marriage, your family, your health, and your finances by declaring God’s promises over them!
Father, I thank You for Your Living Word! I’m glad for the power that it has to change my heart. It is my light in a dark world and hope during uncertain times. It guides me and I am so grateful!
Today, I’m worshiping with Hillsong and “Your Word.”

Greetings,
Don’t you miss attending the weekly services when you can’t be at church? Something really wonderful and transformative happens when we gather to worship God corporately. Notice what King David said about being in the House of God:
Psalm 84:1-2 (NKJV) – “How lovely is Your tabernacle, O LORD of hosts! [2] My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the LORD; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.”
He desired to be in God’s House. A great devotional life consists of two things: (1) developing a personal relationship with God by spending time with Him each day in prayer and in His Word, and (2) spending time in corporate worship with other believers.
Remember a couple of years ago when, for over two years it was very difficult for Christians to assemble together? Hopefully that caused us all to realize how important it is that we worship regularly with other believers. We are probably much more enthusiastic and excited about worshiping together with our brothers and sisters in Christ now than we were before the pandemic. With all we have been through, the value of corporate worship and how important it is to assemble with fellow believers, is more clear to us now than ever.
Father, thank You for being with me, each and every day! Like David, I love being able to come into Your House. I love to join with other believers as we worship You. You deserve my worship and praise!

Greetings,
What does it mean to abide in Christ? That’s an incredibly important question!
One of the enormous benefits of abiding in Him, is the impact that it will have on our prayer lives. God promises to grant the requests of those who abide in Jesus.
John 15:7 (NKJV) – “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”
That doesn’t mean that just because we are Christians, that He has given us a blank check to ask for everything that our selfish hearts might desire. To abide in Christ means that our wants and desires should become like His. It also means being devoted to putting the things that God wants first. When we do so, our prayers will surely be answered.
Dear Jesus, instill a desire in my heart for the things that matter most to You. Let me hunger for what You hunger for. I pray that Your desires will be accomplished in this world, through me. Let me seek what You seek, love what You love, and hate what You hate. In Jesus Name. Amen!

Greetings,
It might sound like a strange commandment, but God has instructed us to love Him with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength. That might seem odd because after all, how do you force yourself to love someone? Yet it reveals an important truth: love is a decision, not just an emotion. We can actually “set” our hearts to love God.
After Christ came, He took what is called the greatest commandment a step further, by commanding us to also ‘love one another.’
John 13:34 (NKJV) – “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.”
As true believers, we shouldn’t ever be indifferent or apathetic toward others. That’s true regardless of who they are, what they believe, their financial status, their education, or politics. Christians must grow beyond the petty differences that divide us and love others as Jesus loves us. And remember this: He loved us while we were still sinners!
Heavenly Father, teach me to love others the way that You love me. Would You create in my heart the same kind of love that You have for all mankind? Help me learn to love the way You love!
