Devotional: Day #

Greetings,
May God grant us a fresh vision of the cross, and may we each day be reminded of how our Savior gave Himself that we could be saved. God’s love for us is the most constant factor in our lives.
We don’t always feel loved do we? Sometimes we feel insignificant and of little value. Why does God love us so much? We are not the first to ask this question. A thousand years before Christ, David asked:
Psalm 8:4 (NKJV) What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?
King David was amazed that God would care about mankind. But care for us, He does! God visited us too. Christ came to swap places with us. He became one of us. Jesus was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. Such a mystery is far too wonderful for us to understand, but our Lord took our sins and gave us His righteousness. Now, that is love!
My Jesus, I bow my head today in deepest gratitude for what You did for me. Thank You for suffering in my place and for the cleansing blood that You shed. Thank You for finding value in me when I was lost and undone. I want to love You the way You love me!
Today I’m worshiping with Jesus Image and “I Stand In Awe”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!

Greetings,
There’s no doubt about it—before the various crises of recent years, the passion of many believers had waned. They had become lukewarm. The average Christian was attending church only 1.7 times a month … and slipping. On average, Christians have only been giving 2.5% of their income to God, rather than the tithe. Only 32% of Christians bothered to read their Bibles every day.
One survey revealed that among U.S. pastors, only 51% believe in the moral teachings of the Bible. In fact, a group of pastors wrote a letter to the governor of their state—not to protest against abortions, but urging him to allow abortions after a fetal heartbeat had been detected. They seem to have forgotten that God called pastors to become well enough informed regarding the teachings of God’s Word that they could help other people navigate through troubled times of controversy. They can’t guide others when they don’t believe the Word of God themselves.
America and Western nations had walked away from the covering of God’s grace and protection. No wonder we were struck with last devastating pandemic. Along with the Psalmist, we must ask,
Psalm 85:6 (NKJV) – “Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?”
Lord, I pray that You will awaken within Your people spiritual hunger. Awaken hunger within me. I want to want You. I desire more of You. Draw us to You.
Today, I’m worshiping with Bethel and “God of Revival.”

Greetings,
Have you stopped to thank God recently for what He has already done for you? Did you know that gratitude is so important, that it’s actually the first step to before you can His Presence?
Psalm 100:4 (NKJV) - “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.”
Gratitude is also the key to receiving even more of God’s generous blessings! Israel never seemed to learn this lesson. God not only delivered them from slavery, He brought them through the Red Sea--as if it was a paved highway, fed them manna from heaven, and supernaturally cared for them for 40 years. Yet, time and time again they complained, until God finally said,
Deuteronomy 32:18 (NKJV) - “Of the Rock who begot you, you are unmindful, And have forgotten the God who fathered you.”
Had they been thankful, can you imagine how many other blessings God would have showered upon them?
Father, we are so thankful for all You have ALREADY brought us through and the innumerable blessings you have ALREADY showered upon us! As the old song goes, “Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come.” It’s Your Grace that has brought us safe thus far! I thank You for caring so much for me.
Today, I’m worshiping with Eddie James and “Give Thanks.”

Greetings,
Every part of the Word of God is written to each of us. But have you ever noticed how God can make certain passages of scripture seem to “come alive?” It is as though He is speaking directly to our hearts and giving us the very thing we need to hear at that moment. That’s because He knows all there is to know about us and understands exactly what our needs are at every moment.
Psalm 139:1 (NKJV): “O LORD, You have searched me and known me,”
Psalm 139:16 (NKJV): “Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.”
God knows your name and everything that’s happening in your life. When you prayerfully read His Word, God will illuminate certain passages and give you the very message you need to hear at that moment.
That’s what happened to the two disciples who were walking with Jesus on the road to Emmaus. They needed a Word from God in order to make sense of all that was happening around them. He caused their hearts to burn with the fire of the Holy Spirit as He spoke to them.
Luke 24:32 (NKJV) - "Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?"
Dear God, open Your Word to us today. Speak to our hearts as You did to Your disciples on that dusty road long ago. Give us this day “our daily bread.” Cause our hearts to be set on fire within us! Give us the direction we need.
Today, I’m worshiping with Riddle and Gretzinger and “You Have Won Me.”
