Weekly focus with daily prayers.

Week 1
Let's pray for personal revival and that we may know Christ more completely. Let's pray that He would be our greatest passion, the joy of our hearts, and the love of our lives. Let's include prayers for personal breakthroughs, for God's will to be done in our lives, and for deliverance from things that have us bound. Also, we should also pray for revival in our world, for the lost to be saved, and for God's kingdom to advance mightily!

Philippians 3:7-8 (NKJV) But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. [8] Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ.

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, in You I have found what my heart has longed for. My deepest longings have been met in You. Encountering You has made me realize how worthless and insignificant are the things I once valued. You are the greatest treasure of my life. I surrender everything that I may know You. I want to want You more! Reveal Yourself to me in an even greater way than I have known You before. I love You with all of my heart, but I desire to love You more deeply. Draw me closer to You for I long to know You more.

Song of Songs 1:4 (NKJV) Draw me away! We will run after you. The king has brought me into his chambers. We will be glad and rejoice in you.

Prayer: My Savior and my King, I pray that You will draw me to You today. If You will draw me, I will run to You. Turn my thoughts and the desires of my heart to You. In the busyness of life my attention is often directed to many things that demand my attention. But I ask You to allow me to experience the privilege of living this day in Your Presence.

Nothing compares to You. I rejoice when You cause me to be aware of the nearness of Your Holy Spirit. I am glad when I sense You near. I love You Lord, even more than words can say.

John 15:4 (NKJV) Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, today I acknowledge the truth of Your Word: I cannot make it without You! Nor would I want to. You are life to me. As surely as I need air to breathe that I can live, I need You to be alive spiritually. You are like the breath in my lungs. I want to be found in You, always as securely connected to You as a branch is to its source.

Fill me today with more of You. I pray that You would make me even more hungry for You. Let me hunger and thirst after more of You and Your righteousness. You alone satisfy the deepest longings of my heart.

Psalm 42:1-2 (NKJV) As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. [2] My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?

Prayer: My soul thirsts for You, Oh God! The emptiness of anything this world has to offer causes my attention to turn to You alone. You are the Living Water, the Well from which I may drink and never again thirst for anything else but more of You!

I am ruined! Knowing You and seeing Your beauty has destroyed any other pleasure this world could ever hope to give. The Glory of Your Presence has consumed me. I am yours Lord. I am so grateful that You are mine!

Luke 10:42 (NKJV) But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."

Prayer: Precious Jesus, many things call for my attention today. Work, entertainment, the demands of life…all of these seek my focus and cry out for my time. But You are the one thing I cannot, and must not ever try to live without. I do not do well without You. In You I live, move and have my very being.

So draw me close to You today. I want to practice the Presence of Your Holy Spirit, to be always aware of You and how near You are to me. I want to praise You and give You the honor and worship You deserve. You are the good thing that can never be taken from me.

Revelation 5:12 (NKJV) ….saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!"

Prayer: Jesus, You alone are worthy to receive my praise! You are my Redeemer and my Savior! Thank You for saving me when You did not have to do it. Thank You for shedding Your blood on the cross for me! Oh what a Savior!

May You receive the reward of Your suffering. May humanity join in an endless chorus of worship that ascends to Your throne declaring Your glory and majesty! I want my voice to be one of those who proclaims that You are Worthy!

Jeremiah 10:6 (NKJV) ….Inasmuch as there is none like You, O LORD (You are great, and Your name is great in might),

Prayer: There really is none like You. Lord, you are beautiful beyond description or words. Though all of eternity is mine to declare Your greatness, it will not be nearly long enough to adequately express who You are. How much less these few years I have to do so here.

I praise You lord! I yearn for You with the deepest of longings. My heart, my soul, indeed all of my being cries out for You. You are wonderful! Draw me, Lord. Let me live near the cross. May I be found to be Yours alone.
