Greetings,

Let’s refuse to be sensitive when we’re criticized by others. Don’t take to heart everything that people may say about you.

Ecclesiastes 7:21-22 (NKJV) – “Also do not take to heart everything people say, Lest you hear your servant cursing you. [22] For many times, also, your own heart has known That even you have cursed others.”

If someone says something that’s hurtful, maybe they’ve had a bad day. Or they may have completely misunderstood a situation. Perhaps they heard only part of a story; and without all the facts, no one can intelligently assess a situation.

Whatever the reason, some people are sure to say unkind things about you. But don’t take it to heart. We have all done the same thing, haven’t we? If you let it get under your skin, it can affect your spirit or even the way you feel about yourself. All God requires is that we serve Him and do our best to please Him.

Father, give me the ability to ‘tune out’ any unkind words people say that do not reflect the values You have given me. If there is merit in the words they speak, help me to correct those things, rather than becoming angry.

Today, I’m worshiping with Hillsong and “Who You Say I Am.”

Greetings,

God is rich in grace!

Ephesians 1:7 (NKJV) - “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”

The simple meaning of the word “grace” is: God’s unmerited favor. So, you can’t do anything to deserve it. He gives us grace—not because of who we are, but because of who He is. His grace will go before us and open doors, while closing other doors that shouldn’t be opened. Grace makes a way for us, even when we’re unworthy to receive it. All you have to do is just believe it—and receive it!

Grace protects us when we cannot protect ourselves. It gives us strength that we do not possess and calls us righteous when we know we’re flawed. Are you willing to accept His grace? Why not embrace your new identity and become who grace declares you to be!

Father, thank You for Your grace that is so amazing! Today, I declare that I am clean, I am forgiven, I am strong, I am righteous, I am healed, I am blessed, and I am delivered! Your grace has made me who I am!

Today, I’m worshiping with Unspoken and “Call It Grace.”

Greetings,

Today, let’s make a conscious effort to reject all feelings of anxiety and uncertainty. God’s future for you is secure, even if it’s not visible at this moment. This is His plan for your life:

Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV) – “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Proverbs 12:25 (NKJV) – “Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.”

His thoughts toward you are for peace—NOT evil. His plan is to give you a future and hope. Feelings of insecurity cause anxiety, which leads to depression.

Father God, thank You for the good Word that You have spoken over my life. I reject all negative thoughts. Instead of worry, I will rejoice that You have already planned my future! I will not be anxious or entertain feelings of stress and fear. Instead of depression, I’m claiming joy unspeakable in my heart!

Today, I’m worshiping with Jeremy Riddle and “What Joy is Found.”

Greetings,

Do you know a believer who was close to the Lord, but then turned and walked away from Him? Several well-known worship leaders have recently done this very thing. What do you suppose was responsible for destroying their relationship with God? Notice what Paul wrote in his epistle to Timothy:

1 Timothy 1:19 (NKJV) – “having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck.”

It is so important for us to maintain our faith and our conscience. Both are based upon decisions that are made in the heart. Faith is simply choosing to place your trust in God. To keep a good conscience, we must stop what we’re doing when the voice of the Holy Spirit tells us not to go any further. Strong faith and a good conscience will keep us from wrecking our lives.

The enemy wants you to listen to “reason” and live in fear, rather than trusting God to keep you and your family safe. Don’t listen to the voice of the enemy when he says that what you’re about to do is okay; everyone else is doing it. That’s a sure way to suffer shipwreck!

Father, help me never to compromise my faith or my conscience. But if that should happen, help me to rebuild those two vital areas of my life so that I may live with integrity and character.

Today, I’m worshiping with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and “So You Would Know.”
